CLAY HILLS RANCH

Established in 1989, Clay Hills Ranch is located in the rolling hills of southeastern Sacramento County where the foothills of the Mother Lode begin. Owners Daniel and Susan Goe have worked long and hard to build their dream into this small breeding operation.     A small but very select group of Quarter Horse and Appaloosa mares make up the broodmare band here.      The AQHA mares are daughters, grand daughters and great grand daughters of such outstanding champions and legends as Sugar Vandy, Leo, Sugar Bars, Doc Bar, King P-234, Osage Pine, Major Bonanza, Colonel Freckles, King Fritz, Docs Hotrodder, Zan Parr Bar, Tru Tru, Impressive, Mr. Conclusion, Obvious Conclusion, TQ Kid, Touchdown Kid and Kid Clu.     The Appaloosa mares are daughters and grand daughters of Model Te, Goer, Wapiti, Deep South, James Bond and the Minidoka horses.     The emphasis is on the all-around horse. We like horses that will halter, win on the rail, rope, work a cow and look real good while doing it      We currently have an APHA filly for sale that is going to be a world beater. At age three months, she is a liver chestnut Tobiano tank. She is by  a homozygous Paint grandson of Perpetualism/Noble Tradition  and out of a double-bred Kid Clu AQHA mare. "This Kids a Pistol" (pending) is HYPP N/N.  There isn't any better halter breeding out there. SHE IS BIG AND BEAUTIFUL. Great color!
